TEACHERS ARE WARRIORS

 

Teachers are builders of a better tomorrow. Their role is not confined to delivering lectures in classrooms and attending back-to-back classes, but much beyond that. Besides parents, someone whose credit is it when the youth today grow up to be beautiful human beings tomorrow? It is the teacher!

They are the biggest well-wishers after parents in any student’s life, and they can cross every extent to help them succeed in life!

In the past few years, technology tried to overshadow the role of teachers in a student’s life. The significance of teachers was put at stake, but with the years devoted to the pandemic and students learning from screens confined in their four walls; society has understood that no technology can replace teachers from the classroom. Their presence has no alternative.

They are the storehouse of experience. They are mentors, guides, friends and a role model for the students. A scree Teachers are builders of a better tomorrow. A screen and mouse cannot educate children on virtues like brotherhood, kindness, patience, sharing and caring and a lot more. It cannot appreciate a child by patting his back on his achievement. It cannot motivate them to excel, and neither can scold them to take the right path in life. It is a teacher who is trained to handle different emotional issues that students face.

How challenging it is to meet aimless individuals with zero seriousness and influence them to become a better version of themselves, but a teacher accepts it with a smile.

 

Considering the current scenario, technology has played a vital role in enhancing the teaching-learning process and as an integral part of education, it has revolutionised education.  However, holistic development through extra-curricular, one-on-one communication, experiential learning and school activities with teachers as mentors is still an integral part of a child’s education.  Technology has made a lot of data and resources available to everyone, but it needs an expert to guide the students through the maze and navigate through all the resources. 

Like doctors; teachers were also frontline warriors who kept struggling with tools and technology to reach their students so that learning could continue seamlessly.  Technology as a helpful tool enhanced their working efficiency and transformed their entire educational experience.  Aptly said Bill Gates, “Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important.”

    Very well said, I also think that Teaching is a amazing profession, as, Only A teacher deals with a fresh life, (it means a lot in deeper meaning) and have a tremendous task and responsibility to direct New Generation.
    This way Teachers are genaration builder.
